Summary

The Special Rapporteur on the promotion and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms while countering terrorism, Ben Saul, conducted a country visit to Somalia from 10 to 20 May 2025, in accordance with Human Rights Council resolution 58/14, to assess the consistency of its counter-terrorism laws and practices with international human rights law.
