Summary

The present report is submitted pursuant to Human Rights Council resolution 57/15. It contains information on the relevant developments in human rights bodies and mechanisms and the activities undertaken by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights at headquarters and in the field that contribute to the promotion of, respect for and full application of the provisions of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, highlighting challenges and main achievements. The report covers the period from 1 June 2024 to 31 May 2025.
