How to contribute to the UN Voluntary Fund for Indigenous Peoples

The Fund is financed by means of voluntary contributions from Governments, non-governmental organizations and other private or public entities. In order to respond to increasing demands to operate and fulfil its mandate in a satisfactory manner, the Fund needs to be supported on a regular basis.

The Fund can allocate travel grants on the basis of the contributions paid and duly registered by the United Nations Treasurer, as well as any balance remaining from previous years, as established by the United Nations Office at Geneva.

Individual contributions

States, private sector and other institutions contributions

Governments, private sector entities and other institutions wishing to support the Fund may contact the secretariat of the Fund for information on how to make a contribution
