Summary

The present report has been prepared pursuant to Human Rights Council resolution 53/3. It assesses challenges, good practices and the implementation of the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights in the context of the use of digital tools that facilitate stakeholder engagement. In addition to identifying key considerations for ensuring that the use of such tools aligns corporate practice with the Guiding Principles, the report provides practical guidance to support assessments of the suitability and limitations of stakeholder engagement tools dedicated to workers in value chains.
